HP recently announce a first of it’s kind mouse; the HP Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse. The HP Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse uses the PC’s built-in Wi-Fi receiver for it connection instead of the common Bluetooth or the use of a USB Dongle.
Aside from it’s unique use of wifi connectivity, the HP Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse is just like your average mouse.
- It has (believe it or not) 9 months of battery life
- Has a range up to 30 feet
- Does not require any USB dongle, it uses the PC’s built-in Wi-Fi receiver.
- 1200 to 1600dpi resolution
- Five customizable buttons
- Four-way-tilt scroll wheel
- Ambidextrous form factor
The HP Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse will be available in June 2011 for $49.99 a pop. Together with the wifi mouse HP announces the Link-5 technology, that links (of course) 5 HP-compatible PC accessories to your PC.
