HP just announced the much awaited release of HP TouchPad and the big day will be on July 1, 2011 for the United States , UK, Ireland, France and Germany a few days later, then mid-July in Canada and finally for webOS fanboys in Australia, Hong Kong, Italy, New Zealand, Singapore and Spain later this year. HP TouchPad will be available in 3G/Wifi or Wifi connectivity and 16 GB and 32 GB models, it will running webOS 2.0 that was acquired when HP bought Palm last April 2011.

Since the Middle East is usually included when a product/device is release in Europe, we can expect HP TouchPad to make an appearance in the Arab countries by Mid-July. The US retail price for the HP TouchPad is $499.99 (16GB) or $599.99 (32GB). Though pre-order can be made as early as June 19 for the North America and European region.
