It was just last June 21, when the then latest version of Firefox 5 browser was released and in less than 2 months Mozilla 6.0 is available for us to use and abuse. It looks like Mozilla is fast tracking the release of the Firefox browser. At this rate, we may see the Mozilla Firefox 8 or probably higher before the end of the year.
The Firefox 6.0 update is more under-the-hood update than facial updates. To name some of the updates made with Firefox 6.0, are Hardware Acceleration, Instant Web Site ID, Multitouch support, WebM and HD Video support, Session Restore, enhanced HTML 5, integration with Windows 7 Parental controls and Anti-Virus Integration. Of course there are also UI updates like Firefox Button, Tabs, Bookmark button and my personal favorite the Awesome bar.
