Skype recently release an update for the Skype 5.2 for Mac OS X, the Skype 5.3 update includes fixes and improvements to the user interface, Lion Support and HD Video Calls. Yes! HD Video Calls. The Skype 5.3 will now allow Skype user to send and receive HD quality video calls when talking to your friends and love ones.
In order to send and receive HD video calls on Skype, needs to have the following:
- Mac’s built-in HD webcam
- Use HD quality webcams
- upload/download speed of 1.5Mbps or faster
