Microsoft releases Windows 8 Release Preview

Software giant Microsoft just announced that Windows 8 Release Preview, this is the final pre-release version of Windows 8, before Microsoft finally release the full version later this year. The new Windows 8 Release Preview contain a number of updates like Windows 8 apps for Hotmail, SkyDrive, Messenger and updated apps in the Windows Apps Store, since Microsoft made the consumer preview available last Febuary.

Before releasing the final version of Windows 8, Microsoft said the they are currently working on enhancing the installation process, security and privacy, performance, 3rd party device and software support, since these are the areas of the OS that got a lot of feedback. Of course nothing final until Microsoft ships the RTM, Release to Manufacturing version even that, we may still a lot of changes to the OS before they finally release the finish product.

It looks like there have been a lot of changes between the Consumer Preview and the Release Preview, but one update that stands out is that the Metro version of IE 10 now supports Flash, if your one of the people who downloaded the Consumer Preview and want to take the Preview Release for a spin, then you can download it here and if you want to download the ISO installer, you can get it from here.
