You can now monitor your site and mobile app (for app developers) performance whenever and wherever you go with the new Analytics app for Android released today by Google. This mobile version of Google Analytics has a number of cool features intentionally created to make your online site and mobile app easily measured and monitored in just realtime!
Take a look first to these screenshots personally taken from my smartphone as soon as I installed it.
You’ll actually find this app very intuitive and user-friendly! After downloading from Google Play, simply launch the app and allow your registered google mail to sync with the app. Once allowed, the app then will automatically fetch your Google Analytics account and lists all the sites or mobile apps you have registered. Clicking each site or app in the list (Img.1) reveals all the site/app statistics such as daily unique visitors, daily goal conversion rate, count visits, pageviews for a given time, bounce rate etc. The Real-time tab (Img. 2) shows the number of active visitors currently viewing your site with Top Active Pages pointing to the particular page(s) your visitors are currently on.
If you’ve set up your Custom Notification, it will also appear in the last tab of the dashboard so there’s no need for you to view the Intelligence tab in the main site or check your email to see the recent site changes or performance of your site/app. Moreover, custom notifications are in timeline graph so it’s very easy to read them chronologically. Another good app feature is the Browser-size Analysis where you can easily determine which portions of your page are visible to every percentage of visitors.
Download the Google Analytics for Android now and get you’re sites and apps monitored!
