Google updates G+ for iOS adds support iPad

Finally after 2 months of waiting, Google finally released an optimized version of Google+ for iPad and aside from the new features, it looks like Google wants it to high-light most shared and most discussed posts, it also a media-centric UI, where photos and videos take advantage of the iPad’s larger display.

The G+ for iPad will have the following features:

  • Pinch and expand posts right in your stream to add your comments
  • Use two fingers to drag a post from your stream to easily re-share it
  • Start a Hangout from your iPad and stream it to your TV using AirPlay

Here are some screenshots of the G+ for iPad that I took.

Google also updated the G+ for iPhone by allowing you to create and manage your Events on Google+. If you have not installed the G+ on your iPhone or iPad, you can download them here or just update the app that’s currently in your iPhone or iPad.
