Samsung has recently made it’s Philippines launch of the Series 9 (the thinnest and lightest 15-inch notebook in it’s category).
Another blow to Apple’s Macbook Pro, the Series 9 comes loaded with the following Specs:
Operating System Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium (64-bit)
Screen Size – 13.3″ SuperBright Plus widescreen display The diagonal measurement of a laptop screen, from corner to corner.
Resolution -LED HD
Brightness - 400 nits, up to 16 million colors, HD LED Backlit anti-glare display
Standard System Memory 4GB DDR3
Max. System Memory 8GB
Intel® HD Graphics 3000
With these specs loaded into the very sleek and slim notebook, we would of course expect that this little machine performance outweighs its actual weight. All that power and performance wrapped in a “Duralumin” enclosure complete with arching curves and remarkable durability. Duralumin is twice the strength of aluminum, despite being light in weight. Elegant from every angle, the Series 9 also includes backlit keyboard, brilliant LCD display screen and a large multi-touch clickpad. It’s a minimalist look that is both simple and sophisticated.
Also loaded with the Intel® Core™ i5 Processor, you would expect that you could play those 3D games with ease, watching HD videos, or simply doing plenty of things in one, it also comes with Turbo boost technology that spells good news to any user that only wants pure performance on their notebooks.
Definitely all these performance tidbits should come with a hefty amount of money out of your pocket, is it really worth the introductory price of PHP76,900? Well for someone who seeks performance and style in an ultrathin notebook that has an ultrathick wallet to get this baby in their hands, it’s worth it (Unless of course you’re the Apple kind of person).
Samsung has definitely been dominating the market with it’s continuous innovative creations that would leave customers craving for their products (imagine a top class restaurant with a long buffet table filled with all types of dishes, appetizers, desserts you could think about). It’s not a surprise that Samsung will keep going at any opportunity it sees to grab the biggest market share in terms of sales.
After all, Samsung stretches it’s wings across almost all gadgets and accesories we could buy nowadays and would continue to improve their services and devices as they maintain to compete in the battle for technological domination.
I haven’t seen any brand (aside from Apple), that I could call the best competitor for Samsung especially with the release of the Samsung Series 9. Samsung did it again.
