Microsoft finally released today the much-awaited Visual Studio 2012 and Windows 8 via MSDN and Technet. One way that developers can get these software is via selected subscriptions associated to their MSDN account or Live ID!

Visual Studio 2012 has new add-ons and essential suites available including Agents for Visual Studio, Test Controller Language Pack, Test Agent Language Pack, Feedback Client for TFS, IntelliTrace Collector (Multilanguage), Remote Tools, Team Explorer Everywhere for TFS, Team Explorer, Visual C++ Redistributable, and many other language pack and web installer.
Along with the release of Visual Studio 2012, Microsoft also released its newest version of operating system available in different editions including Windows 8, Windows 8 N, a number of versions for Windows 8 Enterprise and Windows 8 Pro with Debug/Checked Build and Symbols for all editions also available.
Meanwhile, you can also download the Windows Server 2012 Essentials Beta (available since July 11) in MSDN. Again, download applies only to selected subscription levels.
As I’ve mentioned earlier, you can download these software either via MSDN or Technet subscrptions. I only discussed the MSDN part as I don’t have an account in Technet. Check below the following subscriptions available to be able to download Visual Studio 2012 and Windows 8.
