So I guess we can say that it’s now official, since Apple just sent out the invitation for media event on September 12, 2012 that will be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, the same place where Apple CEO Tim Cook announced the “new” iPad. The event is scheduled to start at 10:00 AM Pacific / 1:00 PM Eastern and the invites has a that simply says “It’s almost here.”
It’s expected for Apple to announced the successor to the iPhone 4S, which media and the final preview of the iOS 6 before it’s release this fall. Of course the iPhone and iOS may not only be the product that will be getting the spot light on September 12, we also hear a refreshed line-up to the iMacs probably getting the retina-display updates.
The number “5″ shadow clearly suggests that the next-generation iPhone will surely be called “iPhone 5″ but it may also mean that the 5th generation of iPod-touch may also be getting some spot-light and get their much needed upgrades.
Even though it has been reported that Apple will also have a second media event on October 2012, for the unveiling of the smaller iPad or what the media is calling the “iPad Mini”, I won’t be surprise if Tim Cook pull a “One more thing”.
