Samsung announce the world’s first Curved OLED TV

At this year’s CES, Samsung just unveil the world’s first Curved OLED TV. To give viewers that panoramic effect and for a more life-like viewing experience. Samsung also said that watching TV or Movies on a curved OLED will be more comfortable for the human eye – “as the curved panel allows the distance between the user and TV screen to be the same from almost any angle.”

Samsung is saying that a 55″ Curved OLED TV will be available by July 2013 with a price range of $8,000 to $12,000.

Additionally, consumers will enjoy the Curved OLED TV for its immersive panorama effect, which is currently not possible with conventional flat-panel TVs. When watching captivating content such as vast landscapes and scenes from nature on the Curved OLED TV, they will feel like they are surrounded by the beautiful scenery.
