Globe Telecom launches GMessage – a IM and SMS in one App

Globe recently launched an instant messaging and text messaging roll into one app the GMessage. Gmessage user can send free and unlimited message to other Gmessage users or send GMESSAGEs to non-GMESSAGE users for only P0.15 per message. Non-GMESSAGE users will receive the message as a text message and when replying they will be charged with standard SMS rates.

With Gmessage you can also share photos, videos, voice notes, and audio files; and create group chats with up to 25 users. The app also feature “Magic Words” that can detect the context of a conversation and provide easy links to relevant content such as Google Maps directions, a Wikipedia page or a YouTube video.
