Paypal to increase Commercial Payments Fee on September 10

This could be bad news to Paypal users in China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam, as Paypal amends their “User Agreement” that says that the company will increase it’s commercial payment fees by 3.9% for the Domestic payments and 4.4% for the International payments, not including the fixed fees.

Yugatech explains that “the new rates represents a 0.5% increase for both domestic and international transactions (or a 15% change).

Paypal said that new policy will automatically come into effect on September 10, and that users do not need to do anything to accept the changes. You can read the complete policy update here.
