I was planning to open the blog for sponsorship by the 2nd half of the year but since there are a lot of people and companies wanting to partner or promote their products and services via the website, and that it’s the first day of April or the start of 2nd quarter of the year, so I’m now opening the site for weekly sponsorship.
I previously accept weekly sponsorship before I relaunch the site but it was not that successful hopefully this time it will be. In a nutshell weekly sponsorship are sponsored post usually (150 plus words) article that will be written by me or the sponsor. It may or may not contain an image from the sponsor and its linked back to a url provided by the sponsoring party.
It will be the only sponsored post for the whole week, as you can see I’m not running any ads on the site, so your sponsored article will get maximum exposure.
Sponsorship are published at the end of each week (Friday at 12:00 AM), since this is the time where the site has the most traffic. Then a note with a link will appear on the sidebar for the entire week, thanking the sponsor for their support. I will also share the article to all my social media accounts.
I will publish dedicated page provide more details on how you or your company can run weekly sponsorship on the site but for now, if you have question about weekly sponsorship, you can get in touch with me via the contact page.
Since rebooting the site last month, majority of the content that you see on the site are aggregated and/or curated content from top tech blog and news website from the Philippines and the region. I also started curating details on Asian startups most notably those based in Southeast Asia.
Since I cannot cover all the startups that are being founded and launch in the region, I decided to just create a submission form for startups. The form will allow founders or just any individual to add their favorite startup to the site and be included in the Startup list. You can access the form here.
In order for me to add or publish the details of the startup that you submitted, you must follow at least keep in mind these 8 simple rules;
- All submission are subjected for verification.
- Not all submitted startup will be published because well see rule no. 1.
- I have and will edit the content if needed.
- I prefer that the submitter’s email address should be using the startup’s domain name but it’s not required.
- No porn, casino and all those tings that destroys our youth.
- This is not for guest post submission. I will be setting up a system on guest post submission, so please be patient.
- Startups based in Asia will be prioritized!
- This is not the place to contact me. You can go here if you want to get in touch with me.
- Logo or screenshot should at least have a 500 x 500 px resolution.
You may ask, why the hell do I need to create a startup list?
GOOD question and I have GOOD answer, well it sounds GOOD to me at least. Since I mainly cover tech and startup news, if your startup is mentioned in the article then I can link the name of the startup to the startup bio that I have on the site. So that readers can look up the details of your company and hopefully visit your site. There’s also the SEO-goodness, since I’ll be linking the article to your startup’s website. Win-Win right?!
Also, I’m just a lazy SOB, so I’m letting startups themselves add their startup on the site. Hopefully they’ll do better than what I did on the startups that I already have.
First, Happy New Year to all the 10 people reading this blog!
Since its the start of the year, this will be the perfect time to reboot KabayanTech. When I first register the domain, I was aiming to blog about the different tech and startups that will be a big help for OFW. It was great for a time but I found my self wanting to write about non-tech stuff, so last September 2016, I registered newshero.net, the side is up and running and that where you will see more of my writing.
Now for this site, I will be relaunching it as a site aggregator and curator for the different tech, startup and gadget news from top tech blog and news website from the Philippines and other countries. That’s why the only category that I’ll be using will be the source of the link.
You may see some original writing here and there but 99.99% of the articles that you will here will be linked from the source website.
So you can say that KabayanTech will be the best place for (almost) all the tech news in the Philippines. So here’s to more tech in 2017.
Like what they say, the only constant in this world is change, so I guess it’s appropriate that I create this post to inform you that since September, KabayanTech is now part of NewsHero.Net, a social media, sports and tech blog. I created NewsHero, since I found myself wanting to post non-tech related topic but they’re not fit for my personal blog, since it’s hard enough to maintain multiple website, I decided to just combine KabayanTech with NewsHero.
All the articles here will be imported in NewsHero and I will soon redirect all traffic from KabayanTech to NewsHero. I strongly recommend that you like the social media accounts of NewsHero to keep receiving updates and fresh content from the site. But if you wish to keep following the KabayanTech on Facebook and Twitter, you can do so, since I will soon publish contents from NewsHero within KabayanTech social media account.
The social media accounts of NewsHero are as follows;
Thanks again and I appreciate your patience and understanding during this transition period.
