GrabCar and Uber will no longer accept bookings to deliver a package without the rider

Makes sense, if you factor in the safety of the driver and liability that will fall on the driver if the items that they’ll deliver are contraband.

However, this makes a great concept for a startup, an on-demand delivery no questions asks, a legal version of “Transporter”.

Twitter is testing tweets with 280 characters

Twitter;

We want every person around the world to easily express themselves on Twitter, so we’re doing something new: we’re going to try out a longer limit, 280 characters, in languages impacted by cramming (which is all except Japanese, Chinese, and Korean).

To some this could be a great improvement of the service but to many Twitter is killing the main feature that made it popular – forcing users to think within that 140 character limit.

I don’t mind the 140 character limit, I’d rather have them not include in the limit when tagging another twitter users or may be the first 3 hashtags.
